Catherine Li Actress

Catherine Li graduated from Rose Bruford College (MA Actor Musicianship) with Distinction in November 2023. Holding a BN(O) and Hong Kong passport, she does not require a visa to work in the UK.

Being an artist-activist from Hong Kong, upon completion of her course, she has written and produced a solo actor-muso participatory show “In an Alternate Universe, I Don’t Want to Live in the UK”, and is scheduled to be shown in VAULTS, Fringe and toured in 8 cities across the UK in 2024. Both this show and the productions in her training that she produced, devised, or musically-directed, have a strong relation to migrant experiences and feature her Hongkongese root. She has also been regularly doing voice-over and language-teaching videos for Memrise the language app since 2020.

Being a skilled actor-musician with Grade 8 Piano, she also plays accordion, guitar and harmonica. She is native in Cantonese and Mandarin, fluent English (estuary accent), and intermediate in Korean and French.
