OFFIE Nominated Dimitris Kafataris is an actor with a military background. He studied Acting and Stage Combat at East 15 Acting School, where he added stage and screen combat to his skills repertoire. He is now a theatrical weapons expert that has experience in a vast array of unique systems including broadswords, knifes, rapier and dagger, sword and shield, firearms, unarmed combat and many more.
Dimitris works alongside his acting career as a fight director and a firearms instructor for Screen and Theatre, specialising in modern warfare roles, firearms handling and tactical military movement.
His work includes Motion Capture performance for Video Games, West End shows, Shakespeare productions, Immersive Theatre and an OFFIE Nomination for Best Choreography/Movement. Dimitris is also the founder of TITANBORN, a Theatrical Specialist Combat company.
