Geno Lechner Actress
Geno has made some memorable films: Steven Spielberg´s "Schindler´s List", Bernhard Rose´s "Immortal Beloved" and Hal Hartley´s "Flirt". She portrayed serial killers, a dominatrix as well as nuns and doctors.
She collaborated with directors and artists such as Wim Wenders, Yolande Zauberman, Raoul Peck, Arto Lindsay, Joan Jonas,, Emily Atef and Nan Goldin.
She was the female lead and femme fatale in the New York production "Going Under" and a Serbian-German doctor in "Love" by Vladan Nicolic.
Geno was in the original production of "Taking Sides" in London’s West End, directed by Harold Pinter, in "A Tort et a Raison" with Michel Bouquet and Claude Brasseur in Paris and in "The Forest" directed by Robert Wilson Berlin at BAM in New York City.The music was composed by David Byrne and Geno sings one song on the accompanying cd.The was also Jenny in the Three penny opera in Montenegro's Zetskidom Theater, directed by Tomi Janezic.
