Gina Markowitsch Actress

Contact Supporting member

Gina Markowitsch is a Swiss actress based in Berlin. She graduated in 2019 from the University of Music and Theatre in Rostock, Germany, where she studied theatre and completed her professional acting training.

Following her studies, she spent several years performing at the theatre in Dresden. During this time, she also began an ongoing collaboration with visual artist Rémy Markowitsch, taking on leading roles in his video installations. Their latest piece, "Juliens Mouse", marks their third joint project and has just been released.

To further refine her craft, Gina worked with acting and accent coach Deborah Meister to strengthen her English-language performance skills, and took film acting classes with David Penn.

She starred in "Welt unter", a film that premiered at the FISH Festival, and can currently be seen on stage at Bernhard Theater Zurich.
