French actress Julie Montel was raised in the countryside of Bordeaux and art has been a part of her life since an early age. She still does classic ballet and horseback riding and she studied piano (classic and jazz) for a decade. Julie was born on July 14th, which has made her a free-minded soul. She first saw Michelle Mercier in Angelique as a child and has wanted to be an actor since then.
Julie has a very strong sense of comedy that she had the opportunity to show on the stage. As Vimala in Monica Volvo and Madame Marguerite, the central character of Madame Marguerite, she epitomized a rebel hero who is the pariah with rebellious ideas of change that people are not ready to hear. She is also a jealous backstabber, toxic to the core. As Carmen in Piel Armada, Celine in Bartholdi and Anne in Tableau Noir, she embodied a devoted monogamist who still believes in true love and who will wait until the time of time for her beloved to show up.
She is bilingual in Spanish and has a fluent English.
