Ray Watters Actor
Ray is an American actor who’s worn a lot of hats over the years...on screen, on stage, and behind the scenes. He’s played leads, co-stars, and supporting roles in film, TV, and theater, and he got his start in the entertainment world way back at 15 as a musician. One of his favorite claims to fame? He once performed at the Hollywood Bowl...four years before the Beatles.
Along the way, Ray founded a non-profit theater company, worked as a news director for ABC and FOX radio affiliates, and even hosted a regional TV show. He’s also been honored by the Ridgecrest City Council, the U.S. Marine Corps, Navy, and Army for his work in the community and his support of service members and their families.
These days, Ray and his wife, Jennie, are based in the Tampa Bay area. He’s active with Film Florida, serves on its legislative committee, and works with Florida Thespians to help encourage the next generation of performers.
Originally from the Los Angeles area, Ray grew up in Duarte and Temple City and later spent years in Ridgecrest, California. He’s represented by agencies in both the U.S. and U.K.
