Tim Bacskai was born in Augsburg, Germany. His father is a U.S. Army veteran and Tim grew up as a military child. He holds dual citizenship from Germany & the United States of America, as his father is American and his mother is German. Tim was raised in Stuttgart, Germany. At an early age, he expressed much interest in performing and was very active at the Stuttgart Theater Center. In 2014, he was nominated by the US Army Topper Awards for best actor in a musical for his performance as Tommy Ross in Stephen King's musical "Carrie". In 2015, Tim moved to New York to study acting at the American Musical & Dramatic Academy and in 2019 he completed his Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from The New School. Since graduating, Tim has performed in several Off-Broadway shows to include "Beauty & the Beast" at the Player's Theater Off-Broadway, and "Frankenstein" & "Swing!" both at the St. Luke's Theater Off-Broadway. Additionally, he has acted in several short films to include "Breaking the Silence" (2019) which was nominated and won several awards at various short film festivals. Tim holds an equal amount of joy being on stage v.s. in front of the camera, and has recently found a new love for writing screenplays. Tim values the importance of story telling and strives to create and promote original work.
